This idea had been on my mind for some time. Description is one of the fun ways to expand vocabulary and practice different grammatical concepts. With even the simplest image you can ask particular questions that can review vocabulary. For example: colors, ¿De qué color es? What color is it? Size, ¿De qué tamaño es?  How big is it?  Amount, ¿Cuántos hay? How many are there? 

You can also ask about different actions and this is a great way to practice verbs. If you ask the question in present progressive then you can practice the present progressive tense: ¿Que está dibujando? (What is she drawing?) Ella está dibujando un cocodrilo. (She is drawing a crocodile.)  If you ask the question in past tense then you can practice the past tense, etc. More to come!
