La bandera nacional de España, como definida y adoptada en 1978, consta de tres franjas horizontales, roja, amarilla y roja, siendo la amarilla el doble del alto que cada franja roja. Tradicionalmente la franja central se definía con el termino arcaico “gualda” (oro) y de ahi su nombre popular “La Rojigualda” (the red-golden).
The national flag of Spain as defined and adopted in 1978, consists of three horizontal stripes, red, yellow and red, the yellow being twice the height of each stripe.
