La Temperatura / The Temperature

To say what the temperature is we say:

“La temperatura es (+number) grados (degrees).”

So for example:

The temperature is 41 degrees.

La temperatura es cuarenta y un grados.

If you wish to add Celsius or Fahrenheit, add these same words or their abbreviations (C˚ or F˚)

The temperature is 100 degrees Fahrenheit:

La temperatura es cien grados Fahrenheit. (100 ˚ F)

You can add the city or country where this temperature is at the beginning or end of the sentence:

En Boston, la temperatura es ochenta grados Fahrenheit.

La temperatura es ochenta grados Fahrenheit en Boston.

You will need a number reference chart to do these. I included it at the bottom of this page.
