Cultures

February 27, 2021

This is the home page of a huge section on cultures I have always wanted to create! My plan is to include resources for anyone who wants to learn or teach about the cultures of the people who speak Spanish. The people who speak Spanish depending who they are can be called: Spanish, Hispanic, Latino/a or Latinx. Confused about the terms Spanish, Hispanic, Latino/a or Latinx’s differences? Go HERE this article explains it very well.

I will also include aspects that influence culture like geography and the weather. This is the list of what I have come up so far:

Geography. Land Environments. Nature. Weather.

History. Ancient. Modern.

Traditions and art forms. Literary. Visual. Music. Dance. Film. Culinary. Religion based traditions. Secular based traditions. The people. Being a child. Notable people.

I will create a page for every country where Spanish is the main language spoken by its native speakers. Please click on the country you are interested in. *I will also include countries where there is a huge portion of the population that speak the language like the United States. If the word is in red, the page has been created. If not… it’s in process so come back soon!
